Job Summary

Operate advanced imaging equipment to capture high-quality diagnostic images, verify image clarity before submission, and prepare patients for procedures while ensuring radiation safety. Administer contrast media under physician direction, maintain accurate PACS records, and monitor equipment for maintenance needs. Serve as a lead resource when leadership is unavailable, assist in caregiver orientation and training, and support QA initiatives. Schedule examinations and manage supply levels. Requires proficiency in operating various machines and strong communication skills. Full-time position with competitive benefits including tuition support and matched retirement.

Required Qualifications

  • Graduate of an accredited Radiologic Technologist Program
  • Completed required clinical hours
  • One (1) year of relevant experience
  • OR graduate of Bachelors degree program
  • American Registry of Radiologic Technologists-Radiography (ARRT(R)) certification
  • Basic Life Support (BLS) certification
  • State licensure
  • Capability to make informed decisions regarding imaging procedures, patient care, and team management
  • Ability to handle multiple responsibilities simultaneously, such as performing imaging procedures while supervising staff
  • Ability to lead and motivate a team
  • Strong decision-making and conflict resolution skills
  • Thorough understanding of protocols and ability to adjust as needed
  • Strong attention to detail and ability to follow complex instructions
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, collaborative environment
  • Flexibility to manage multiple tasks and adapt to changing priorities
  • Ability to push, pull, and/or lift 50 lbs. on a regular basis
  • Ability to grip, reach, bend, kneel, twist, and squat to perform duties
