Radiology Technologist - Full Time - Marietta

Job Summary
Perform diagnostic imaging procedures to support patient diagnosis and treatment while ensuring safety and upholding high-quality imaging standards. Operate advanced imaging equipment across various machines, capture high-quality diagnostic images, and review them for clarity before submission. Prepare, position, and transfer patients for procedures, administer contrast media under physician direction, and maintain accurate records in PACS. Serve as a lead and expert resource when unavailable, assist in caregiver orientation and training, and manage supplies and equipment maintenance. Schedule examinations, perform routine cleaning, and contribute to QA initiatives. Requires one year of relevant experience, ARRT certification, and state licensure. Full-time role with 32+ hours per pay period.
Required Qualifications
- Graduate of an accredited Radiologic Technologist Program
- Completed required clinical hours
- One (1) year of relevant experience
- OR graduate of Bachelors degree program
- American Registry of Radiologic Technologists-Radiography (ARRT(R)) certification
- Basic Life Support (BLS) certification
- State licensure
- Capability to make informed decisions regarding imaging procedures, patient care, and team management
- Ability to handle multiple responsibilities simultaneously

- Thorough understanding of protocols

- Ability to maintain accurate records and documentation of procedures and findings
- Ability to serve as a resource and act as a lead while leadership is unavailable
- Ability to effectively communicate with patients and healthcare professionals
- Ability to administer contrast media under a physician's direction
- Ability to manage and update images and patient records in PACS
- Ability to monitor imaging equipment for unsafe conditions and perform routine cleaning and maintenance
- Ability to prepare, position, and transfer patients for imaging procedures
- Ability to explain the imaging process and address patient concerns
- Ability to provide radiation protection in accordance with prescribed safety standards
- Ability to review and verify images for clarity and completeness before submission for interpretation
- Ability to schedule radiology examinations correctly
- Ability to manage supplies levels and resupply as needed
- Ability to assist with QA initiatives
- Ability to perform clerical duties
