Radiology Technologist - Full Time - Marietta

Job Summary
Perform diagnostic imaging procedures to support patient diagnosis and treatment while ensuring safety and high-quality standards. Operate advanced imaging equipment across various machines, capture diagnostic images, and verify their clarity before submission. Prepare and position patients, administer contrast media under physician direction, and maintain accurate records in the PACS. Serve as a lead and expert resource when leadership is unavailable, assist with caregiver orientation and training, and support QA initiatives. Monitor equipment for unsafe conditions and manage supply levels. Schedule examinations and perform necessary clerical duties.
Required Qualifications
- Graduate of an accredited Radiologic Technologist Program
- Completed required clinical hours
- One (1) year of relevant experience
- Graduate of Bachelors degree program
- American Registry of Radiologic Technologists-Radiography (ARRT(R)) certification
- Basic Life Support (BLS) certification
- State licensure
- Capability to make informed decisions regarding imaging procedures, patient care, and team management
- Ability to handle multiple responsibilities simultaneously, such as performing imaging procedures while supervising staff
- Ability to lead and motivate a team
- Strong decision-making and conflict resolution skills
- Thorough understanding of protocols and ability to adjust as needed
- Strong attention to detail and ability to follow complex instructions
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, collaborative environment
- Flexibility to manage multiple tasks and adapt to changing priorities
- Physical ability to push, pull, and/or lift 50 lbs on a regular basis
- Physical ability to stand and walk during each shift
- Physical ability to grip, reach, bend, kneel, twist, and squat to perform duties
