Job Summary
Perform imaging examinations according to physician orders, utilizing sophisticated equipment to produce optimal high-quality images while adhering to ALARA principles for minimal radiation exposure. Utilize clinical judgment regarding proper positioning factors, radiation dose calibration, and patient treatment needs, accounting for individual and age-related requirements. Contribute to a team dedicated to exceptional patient care across surgical imaging, fluoroscopic procedures, portable, and outpatient imaging within departments including surgery, critical care, and the emergency department. Work full-time shifts including day, evening, and night rotations.
Required Qualifications
- Education to meet certification, license or registration requirement
- Oregon Radiographer License upon hire
- Oregon Radiographer Temporary License upon hire
- National Certification from American Registry of Radiologic Technologists within 6 months (180 days) of hire
- National Provider BLS - American Heart Association upon hire
- OBMI temporary license
- Permanent license within 6 months of hire
