Job Summary
Perform imaging examinations according to physician orders, utilizing sophisticated equipment to produce optimal high-quality images with minimal radiation exposure. Utilize clinical judgment for proper positioning, radiation dose calibration, and patient treatment while adhering to ALARA awareness. Work within a team of technologists across surgical imaging, fluoroscopic procedures, and outpatient settings in departments including surgery, critical care, and the emergency department. Complete examinations with attention to individual and age-related patient needs.
Required Qualifications
- Education to meet certification, license or registration requirement
- Oregon Radiographer License upon hire
- Oregon Radiographer Temporary License upon hire
- National Certification from American Registry of Radiologic Technologists within 6 months (180 days) of hire
- National Provider BLS - American Heart Association upon hire
- OBMI temporary license
- Permanent license within 6 months of hire
