Radiology Technologist (FT DAYS)

Job Summary
Operate and maintain all imaging department equipment including X-Ray, CT, CR reader, and PACS while performing a variety of imaging procedures at a technical level not requiring constant supervision. Provide technical assistance and supportive patient care to assist physicians, nurses, and administrative staff throughout the facility. Perform all imaging exams, collect laboratory samples, and conduct testing in accordance with COLA and CLIA regulations. Maintain documentation, logs, charts, and records in paper and electronic formats, ensuring the physician on duty is notified of results. Conduct routine daily, weekly, monthly, and periodic maintenance and function checks on all imaging equipment. Perform Quality Control, Proficiency Testing, and Split Sample analysis as established by the facility. Travel to all facility locations as required and perform duties as ER Technician as needed.
Required Qualifications
- High School diploma or GED
- Graduation from an AMA-approved school of Radiology Technology
- Certified as a medical radiologic technologist as required by the state in which practicing
- Registered Technologist with the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT) in radiography
- Current BLS certification through the American Heart Association
- 2+ years radiologic/imaging experience
- Proficiency with most X-ray/CT equipment, manufacturer's hardware/software and PACS
- Position requires fluency in English, written and oral communication
- CT certification required (Las Vegas Market)
- CT certification required within 12 months of hire (Pennsylvania market)
Desired Qualifications
- Associate's degree in Radiology
- Registered Technologist with the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT) in computed tomography
- 1+ years of CT experience
- 1+ years of emergency room experience
