Job Summary
Perform diagnostic examinations, ensure image quality, and assist radiologists with fluoroscopic procedures using large C-arm and O-arm equipment. Identify patients, review exam orders for clinical consistency, and maintain collaborative communication with the healthcare team. Adhere to department protocols, radiation safety standards, and infection control policies while documenting patients in HIS and PACS systems. Monitor supply inventory and maintain exam and dressing rooms. Requires one year of radiology experience, ARRT certification, and BLS. Active working period runs November through April. Hourly pay ranges from $34.05 to $46.99.
Required Qualifications
- American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT)
- Basic Life Support (BLS)
- Completion of all educational and clinical requirements to qualify for ARRT examination
- Must possess, or be able to obtain within 90 days, the computers skills necessary to complete online learning requirements for job-specific competencies, access online forms and policies, complete online benefits enrollment, etc.
- Must have working knowledge of the English language, including reading, writing, and speaking English
- Must be HIPAA compliant
