Job Summary
Perform radiological procedures under radiologist direction to provide diagnostic images for physician review. Prepare and position patients for imaging, select exposure factors, and administer contrast media within regulatory scope. Monitor protocols, observe patients during procedures, and ensure high-quality image submission to PACS with correct lead markers and patient data. Maintain equipment functionality, follow radiation safety guidelines, and keep the department clean and orderly. May perform bone density scans using DEXA equipment. Schedule Monday-Thursday 7:30am-6:00pm with a $15,000 sign-on bonus.
Required Qualifications
- BLS Provider obtained within 1 Month (30 days) of hire date or job transfer date
- Graduate of an accredited educational program in Radiologic Technology
- Cardiographic Tech credentialed from the Cardiovascular Credentialing International (CCI) obtained prior to hire date or job transfer date
- Radiologic Technologist specializing in Radiography credentialed from the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT) obtained prior to hire date or job transfer date
- Radiologic Technologist specializing in Sonography credentialed from the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT) obtained prior to hire date or job transfer date
- Medical Sonographer credentialed from the American Registry for Diagnostic Medical Sonography (ARDMS) obtained prior to hire date or job transfer date
Desired Qualifications
- Bone Density Certification obtained within 6-months of hire or transfer date (if applicable)
