Job Summary
Conduces general diagnostic radiological imaging studies under physician direction, including patient positioning for accurate anatomy/pathology demonstration, operation of radiation-producing equipment, Radiology systems, and preparation of patient rooms/equipment/medications. Phlebotomy competency for lab may be required at sites performing Radiology and Lab. Requires ARRT registration or eligibility with progress toward ARRT registry within 180 days; BLS certification; and completion of a radiology technology training program.
Required Qualifications
- Trade School Graduate - Radiology technology
- Licensed Radiologic Technologist (ARRT)
- Basic Life Support (BLS)
- ARRT registry within 180 days of hire or registry-eligible
- General diagnostic radiologic imaging under physician direction
- Phlebotomy competency may be required for certain sites (Radiology and Lab)
