Radiology Technologist (CT/X-Ray Technologist - PRN Nights - Aubrey)

Job Summary
Perform a variety of imaging procedures, including CT and X-Rays, at a technical level not requiring constant supervision. Provide technical assistance and supportive patient care, operate and maintain imaging equipment (X-Ray, CT, CR reader, PACS), perform imaging exams per policies, collect laboratory samples and perform lab testing with COLA/CLIA regulations, maintain documentation, and travel to all facility locations as required. Maintain reagents and consumables, perform routine maintenance and quality control, participate in proficiency testing or split sample analysis, retain analytic records for two years, and attend required meetings. Also perform ER technician duties as needed and ensure communication with physicians, nurses, and staff. Requires ARRT radiography certification, CT certification (within 12 months in some markets), BLS, and AMA-approved Radiology Technology education; 2+ years radiologic/imaging experience preferred, with CT and ER experience preferred.
Required Qualifications
- High School diploma or GED
- Graduation from an AMA-approved school of Radiology Technology
- Certified as a medical radiologic technologist as required by the state
- Registered Technologist with the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT) in radiography required
- ARRT CT certification preferred (Las Vegas market) or CT certification within 12 months of hire (Pennsylvania market)
- Current BLS certification through the American Heart Association
- 2+ years radiologic/imaging experience preferred
- 1+ years of CT experience preferred
- 1+ years of ER experience preferred
- Proficiency with X-ray/CT equipment, hardware/software and PACS
- English fluency (written and oral)
