Radiology Technologist (CT/X-Ray Technologist - PRN Days - Grand Prairie)

Job Summary
Operate and maintain all imaging department equipment, including X-Ray, CT, CR reader, and PACS, while performing all imaging exams in accordance with established policies. Provide technical assistance and supportive patient care to assist physicians, nurses, and administrative staff throughout the facility. Perform basic clinical procedures, collect laboratory samples, and conduct quality control and proficiency testing as required. Maintain all documentation, logs, and records in paper and electronic formats, ensuring reagents and consumables are adequately supplied. Perform routine daily, weekly, monthly, and periodic maintenance and function checks on all imaging equipment. Duties may include ER Technician responsibilities and travel to all facility locations as required. Day shift coverage from 7am to 7pm.
Required Qualifications
- High School diploma or GED
- Graduation from an AMA-approved school of Radiology Technology
- Certified as a medical radiologic technologist as required by the state in which practicing
- Registered Technologist with the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT) in radiography
- Current BLS certification through the American Heart Association
- 2+ years radiologic/imaging experience
- 1+ years of CT experience
- 1+ years of emergency room experience
- Proficiency with most X-ray/CT equipment, manufacturer's hardware/software and PACS
- Position requires fluency in English, written and oral communication
- CT certification required (Las Vegas Market)
- CT certification required within 12 months of hire (Pennsylvania market)
