Radiology Technologist (CT/X-Ray Tech - Full-Time Nights - Colleyville

Job Summary
Perform imaging procedures including CT and X‐ rays at a technical level not requiring constant supervision. Provide technical assistance and patient care to support physicians, nurses and staff. Operate and maintain imaging department equipment (X-Ray, CT, CR reader, PACS); perform exams per policies and notify physician of results. Conduct basic clinical procedures under physician/nurse direction. Maintain documentation, logs and records; collect laboratory samples and perform lab testing per COLA/CLIA. Maintain reagents, perform routine maintenance and quality control; participate in proficiency testing and record analytic activities. Travel to all facility locations as required and attend staff/mandatory meetings. Travel to locations and roles may involve ER duties and additional imaging-related responsibilities.
Required Qualifications
- High School diploma or GED
- Graduation from an AMA-approved school of Radiology Technology
- Certified as a medical radiologic technologist as required by the state in which practicing
- Registered Technologist with the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT) in radiography
- ARRT in computed tomography preferred, CT certification required (Las Vegas Market) or CT certification required within 12 months of hire (Pennsylvania market)
- Current BLS certification through the American Heart Association
- 2+ years radiologic/imaging experience (preferred)
- 1+ years of CT experience (preferred)
- 1+ years of emergency room experience (preferred)
- Proficiency with most X-ray/CT equipment, manufacturer’s hardware/software and PACS
- English fluency in written and oral communication
