Radiology Technologist

Job Summary
Conduct diagnostic imaging by performing plain films, fluoro, portables, and OR exams, including Bone Density procedures where applicable. Transport patients to clinical areas, verify identities, and position patients for procedures while explaining steps and providing educational materials. Administer contrast media and medications within scope, monitor patients during exams, and ensure high-quality image submission to PACS. Maintain radiation safety protocols, verify equipment functionality, and keep the department clean and orderly. Perform limited CT procedures in emergent situations when a CT Technologist is unavailable.
Required Qualifications
- Completion of Radiology program
- Completion of a Radiology Technology program
- ARRT-R Radiography - American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT)
- ARRT-BD Bone Density - American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT)
- Basic Life Support HealthCare Provider (BLS HCP) - American Heart Association (AHA)
- Radiologic Technologists - Illinois Emergency Management Agency (IEMA)
- Radiologic Technologists – Temporary Accreditation - Illinois Emergency Management Agency (IEMA)
- Radiographer, Licensed - Wisconsin Department of Safety and Professional Services
