Job Summary
Operate radiographic and CT equipment to provide clinically diagnostic images per physician directives, initiating interventions for immediate attention and reviewing exam indications. Perform procedures accurately according to established protocols, providing complete exam data to radiologists via PACS, RIS, and EMR systems while archiving images for permanent storage. Maintain department policies, infection control standards, and safety regulations, assisting with record analysis and mentoring staff during clinical rotations.
Required Qualifications
- Associate's or a certificate of completion from an accredited school of Radiologic Technology
- ARRT Certification - American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT) within 60 Days
- Visual acuity adequate to perform position duties
- Ability to communicate effectively with others
- Ability to hear, understand and distinguish speech and other sounds
- Ability to work the hours specified
- Ability to perform each essential job function satisfactorily
