Job Summary
The Radiology Technologist performs general imaging radiographic procedures for adults and/or pediatric patients for diagnosis and/or treatment. Responsibilities include preparing patient and equipment, providing instructions with professional customer service, performing radiographic imaging examinations independently (including on-call and portable exams), and carrying out other tasks assigned by the department. The role requires an Associate degree or higher in a related field and ARRT/R.T.(R) certification, with GI & Surgery procedure experience preferred; new grads are welcome to apply. The position supports a 12-week rotating day shift schedule (4-10s or 5-8s) with rotating days and holiday rotation at Christian Hospital in the St. Louis area.
Required Qualifications
- Associate degree or higher in Radiologic Technology
- Certification as a Registered Technologist in Radiography - R.T.(R)
- Experience: GI & Surgery / procedures experience (preferred)
