Job Summary
Radiology Technologist for Cardiac Cath Lab responsible for technical support of Cath Lab procedures (catheterizations, angioplasty, structural heart and peripheral procedures), operating advanced imaging equipment, ensuring radiation safety, and providing sterile/non-sterile support. Responsibilities include assisting with pre/post-procedure activities, precepting students/residents, performing quality assurance on equipment, maintaining supply inventory, and understanding coding procedures for accurate billing. Requires an Associate’s degree in Radiologic Technology, NYS Radiologic Technologist license, and at least 2 years of hospital experience; preferred Cardiac Cath Lab experience. On-site, day-rotational schedule with on-call weekly rotations.
Required Qualifications
- Minimum Required Associate’s degree in Radiologic Technology
- New York State license as Radiologic Technologist
- Two (2) years of experience in full services hospital as a Radiologic Technologist
