Job Summary
Perform radiologic exams as ordered by physicians, selecting proper technical factors and operating equipment based on individual patient demands. Check requisitions for special instructions, consult with radiologists as necessary, and assist in maintaining adequate patient records. Obtain specimens and perform certain diagnostic laboratory tests, preparing them for transport to the Medical Center or State Lab. This full-time position at Atrium Health Prosperity Church Urgent Care requires a High School Diploma, completion of an AMA-approved Radiologic Technology Program, and current ARRT registry. Base pay ranges from $26.55 to $39.85 per hour with a sign-on bonus eligible.
Required Qualifications
- High School Diploma or GED
- Successful completion of an AMA approved Radiologic Technology Program
- Current registry with ARRT
- Ability to obtain registry within 6 months of hire date
- 1 year experience preferred
- BLS certification
- Intact sense of sight, hearing, smell, touch, and finger dexterity
- Ability to concentrate
- Ability to respond quickly to changes in patient and clinic conditions
- Must be able to lift and support the weight of 50 pounds
- Must possess the ability to lift and support the weight of 50 pounds in handling of patients and medical equipment and supplies
