Job Summary
Radiology Technologist (PRN) performs radiographic examinations under the Radiologist's direction, coordinates daily exam activities, escorts patients and guests, utilizes hospital paging and telephone systems for transport tracking, assists with patient transfers, verifies outpatient registration, and manages transport equipment and room orientation. Requires ARRT-recognized radiologic technology education and registry eligibility with completion within 1 year, plus BLS; duties include clinical collaboration with nursing and staff and handling patient movement and equipment in a hospital setting.
Required Qualifications
- Graduate of an institution accredited by ARRT in Radiologic Technology
- registry eligible with registry completion within 1 year of hire date
- BLS required
