Radiology Technologist Assistant - Atrium Health Levine Children's Pediatrics FT

Support radiology workflow as a Radiology Technologist Assistant by preparing patients for exams, transporting and escorting patients, and assisting with imaging procedures. Facilitate communication between patients, families, physicians, and technologists; operate radiology computer systems to generate requisitions and manage schedules; maintain exam rooms and equipment; greet and assist patients and visitors; respond to routine inquiries and manage phone calls and messages; assist with documentation and release of health information; perform routine maintenance and quality monitoring of imaging equipment; assist with MRI implant screening as needed. Must have GED/HSED or high school diploma and Basic Life Support (BLS) certification; ability to lift and move weighted loads; strong customer service, communication, organizational, and computer skills; familiarity with EPIC/EMR systems is preferred; role requires knowledge of age-specific care and coordination with care teams in a pediatric radiology setting.
