Job Summary
Produce high-quality radiologic images by precisely positioning patients and selecting accurate exposure factors to give physicians the clearest possible diagnostic view. Advocate for patient safety by strictly adhering to radiation protection guidelines and monitoring individuals during procedures to eliminate unnecessary exposure and ensure comfort. Safeguard clinical data integrity through the prompt, accurate submission of images and patient history to PACS, ensuring the medical team has immediate access to flawless records. Manage and prepare contrast media safely within your state and federal scope of practice, expanding the diagnostic capabilities available to our patients. Maintain equipment and environment readiness by performing regular quality checks and ensuring imaging rooms are clean, safe, and fully operational for the next patient.
Required Qualifications
- BLS Provider obtained within 1 Month (30 days) of hire date or job transfer date required. American Heart Association or American Red Cross accepted.
- Radiologic Technologist specializing in Radiography credentialed from the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT) obtained within 6 Months (180 days) of hire date or job transfer date required.
- Education: High School diploma equivalency with 2 years of cumulative experience OR Associate's degree/Technical degree OR 4 years of applicable cumulative job specific experience required.
