Job Summary
Imaging & Technical Execution: Accurately position patients and select optimal exposure factors and anatomic parameters to produce high-quality diagnostic images. Patient Safety & Medication: Administer contrast media and medications within legal scope while strictly adhering to radiation safety protocols to prevent unnecessary exposure. Clinical Monitoring & Quality Control: Observe patients for abnormal activity during procedures and ensure the prompt submission of verified images and data to PACS. Equipment & Lab Management: Monitor equipment functionality, execute lock/tag-out safety procedures for malfunctions, and maintain a clean, orderly clinical environment.
Required Qualifications
- BLS Provider within 1 month of hire date (American Heart Association or American Red Cross accepted)
- Cardiographic Tech credentialed from the Cardiovascular Credentialing International (CCI) obtained prior to hire date
- Radiologic Technologist specializing in Radiography credentialed from the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT) obtained prior to hire date; General Radiography required in addition to any specialty; Wisconsin Radiology licensure issued by Wisconsin Radiography Examining Board
- Medical Sonographer credentialed from the American Registry for Diagnostic Medical Sonography (ARDMS) obtained prior to hire date
- Education: High School diploma equivalency with 2 years of cumulative experience OR Associate's degree/Technical degree OR 4 years of applicable cumulative job specific experience
