Job Summary
Capture high-fidelity diagnostic images that empower physicians to make accurate, life-saving medical decisions while advocating for patient safety through meticulous radiation protection protocols. Guide patients through the imaging journey with clear communication, compassionate positioning, and continuous monitoring to ensure their comfort. Optimize clinical workflows by maintaining peak equipment performance and refining imaging protocols, then manage the integrity of the patient's digital record by ensuring all data, markers, and histories are accurately submitted. This role requires BLS certification and specific radiologic credentials, with a rotating PRN schedule at Ascension Sacred Heart Pensacola in Diagnostic Radiology.
Required Qualifications
- BLS Provider obtained within 1 Month (30 days) of hire date or job transfer date
- Cardiographic Tech credentialed from the Cardiovascular Credentialing International (CCI) obtained prior to hire date or job transfer date
- Radiologic Technologist specializing in Computed Tomography credentialed from the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT) obtained prior to hire date or job transfer date
- Radiologic Technologist credentialed from the Florida Radiologic Technology obtained prior to hire date or job transfer date
- Radiologic Technologist specializing in Radiography credentialed from the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT) obtained prior to hire date or job transfer date
- Medical Sonographer credentialed from the American Registry for Diagnostic Medical Sonography (ARDMS) obtained prior to hire date or job transfer date
- High School diploma equivalency with 2 years of cumulative experience
- Associate's degree/Technical degree
- 4 years of applicable cumulative job specific experience
- Valid, current state license to practice as a Radiologic Technologist
Desired Qualifications
- ARRT Certification. Must be currently registered and in good standing with the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists
