Job Summary
This Radiology Technologist role performs general diagnostic radiographic procedures across the body, conducts venipuncture and basic lab tests, and manages lab procedures per CLIA guidelines. Responsible for EPIC Admissions and Radiology Module tasks, image preparation, PACS-Isite usage, patient identification, exam quality review, incident reporting, and ensuring safe, accurate patient care. Provides training support to students and new staff, maintains equipment/procedures, and supports safety protocols. Requires ARRT certification, Iowa radiography licensure, BLS, and mandatory reporter training; Associate degree in radiologic technology preferred.
Required Qualifications
- Current American Registry of Radiologic Technologist Certification Required
- Associate's degree in radiologic technology preferred
- Iowa Permit to Practice Radiography required
- Registration with the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT) required
- Current certification in Basic Life Support (BLS) required
- Iowa Dependent Adult Abuse/Iowa Child Abuse Mandatory Reporter training required
