Job Summary
Operate conventional, fluoroscopic, and portable radiology equipment to obtain routine radiographs of designated body areas according to physician specifications. Prepare patients for exams, position them correctly, and administer drugs or contrast agents while calculating technical factors. Process and develop film, enter data into the Radiology Information System for medical records and billing, and maintain a clean work area with proper supplies. Report equipment malfunctions to supervisory personnel and perform clerical tasks such as answering phones and scheduling exams. Required Qualifications
- ARRT required at time of hire for Urgent Care Positions
- ARRT (American Registry of Radiologic Technology) certification is mandatory within 90 days for Washington Hospital Center
