Job Summary
Perform x-ray testing including body mechanics and patient movement using knowledge of anatomy and physiology. Operate diagnostic equipment, develop film, prepare rooms with necessary supplies, and perform Medical Assistant duties. Promptly greet patients, communicate wait times, and provide direction for treatment steps. Obtain and document vital signs, history, and medications while assisting with patient transfers and procedures. Ensure equipment functionality, follow quality control procedures, and maintain proper radiation protection. Complete required documentation and maintain current licensure and certification. Full-time team members work rotating 36-40 hour/week shifts.
Required Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent
- BLS Certification
- AR State X-Ray License
Desired Qualifications
- ARRT Certification preferred
- Experience as a Medical Assistant is preferred
