Job Summary
Radiology Technician (Part-Time, Las Vegas, NV) performing mammograms, dexa scans, X-ray and ultrasound under Radiologist guidance. Responsibilities include patient safety and comfort, accurate documentation of imaging and patient records, adherence to MQSA/MSQA standards and HIPAA compliance, equipment operation/maintenance and QC, collaboration with physicians and technologists, and assisting patients with imaging positions. Requires ARRT mammography certification with at least one year of experience, state-of-Nevada requirements, and on-the-job ultrasound/RT(R) training opportunities; bilingual in Spanish encouraged. Starting pay is $40/hour with benefits including health insurance, PTO, holidays, retirement plan, and EAP.
Required Qualifications
- High School Diploma, or equivalent
- A.R.R.T. registered and certified in mammography with at least one year of experience
- Advanced mammography training as required by the State of Nevada and M.S.Q.A.
- ARDMS registered preferred or licensed RT(R) with on-the-job training
- ARRT Bone Densitometry (RT(BD)) certification or eligibility (Preferred)
- Ability to pass a background check, fingerprinting, and drug test
