Job Summary
Radiology Technician PRN in outpatient surgery department performing fluoroscopic imaging and related duties. Responsible for imaging patient care, file room, clerical tasks, physician assistance, and other duties to support patient outcomes. Operates stationary or portable radiologic equipment to acquire x-ray images, ensures radiation protection, maintains records, and supports team in a fast-paced environment. Requires Florida certification as a Radiologic Technologist and a high school diploma, with two years of radiologic experience.
Required Qualifications
- High school diploma or the equivalent
- Possession of a current valid certificate as a certified Radiologic Technologist in diagnostic radiologic technology issued by the Florida State Department of Health Services
- Two years of experience, including training in radiologic techniques and methods, under an accredited medical radiologist OR completion of a two-year radiologic technology program approved by the AMA/ACR
