Job Summary
Radiologic Tech performs radiographic examinations per protocols, maintains radiation safety, assists radiologist with intricate exams, prepares/administers contrast media per policy and regulations, educates patients pre/post exams, ensures images are ready for interpretation, mentors students, participates in department quality improvement, maintains credentials, and supports organizational values while delivering patient-centered care in the Ambulatory Care setting.
Required Qualifications
- Education: Graduate of a JRC approved program in Radiologic Technology (required)
- Experience: One-year experience as a general radiographer (required)
- Certification: Registered with ARRT, KY Radiation Operators Certification (required)
- CPR-Basic Life Support (BLS) issued by the American Heart Association (required)
