Job Summary
Produce quality diagnostic radiographs including OR, fluoroscopy, Dexa, and EOS exams using appropriate exposure techniques and metal markers. Document patient histories, verify physician orders, and perform surgery cases efficiently with C-arms and portable machines. Supervise radiology students during clinical rotations, communicate technical information clearly, and maintain a clean, safe environment adhering to infection control policies. Enter exam data into the Radiology module, manage consent forms, and ensure timely report turnaround. Practice radiation safety, wear dosimetry badges, and participate in departmental meetings and continuing education.
Required Qualifications
- Graduate of a Radiology Technology program
- Registry eligible
- Two years Radiology Technology experience
- Basic Life Support HealthCare Provider (BLS HCP) - American Heart Association (AHA)
- ARRT-R Radiography - American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT)
- Ability to stand for and walk for long periods of time
- Ability to lift, push, and pull 100 plus pounds
- Ability to move or transfer patients
- Ability to deal with strenuous and physical activity daily in lifting, pulling, pushing, patients, radiographic equipment cassettes and/or supplies
Desired Qualifications
- Two years Radiology Technology experience
