Job Summary
Radiology Technician at Huebner ASC in San Antonio, TX: perform radiographic exams and procedures, ensure radiation safety for patients and staff, operate and position x-ray equipment, process radiographic images, maintain patient confidentiality and accurate documentation, support the surgical team with patient positioning and room turnover, cross-train as an Instrument Technician when needed, foster a safe center environment, participate in quality improvement initiatives, and uphold the organization's mission and values.
Required Qualifications
- Graduate of an accredited Radiologic Technology program (required)
- ARRT Certification (required)
- High School Diploma or equivalent (preferred)
- One year of experience in a surgical setting (preferred)
- Basic Life Support (BLS) certification (preferred)
- Knowledge of Universal Precautions and Aseptic Technique
- Strong interpersonal skills and a team-oriented mindset
