Job Summary
Radiology Technician assisting with rehabilitation services under supervision of a Supervising Physical Therapist across settings (skilled nursing facilities, outpatient, home care). Responsibilities include preparing patients for assessments and treatments, assisting with placement/removal of appliances and splints, supporting individual and group treatments in ADL, ROM, strength, coordination, and cognitive/perceptual remediation, maintaining department equipment, performing administrative duties (scheduling, authorizations, phone calls), inventory management, patient/family/staff education, coordinating rehabilitation activities, charting patient records (evaluation, daily treatment notes, orders, billing), and ensuring safe, organized operations. Core competencies include communication (written and oral), accountability, attention to detail, accuracy, problem solving, self-motivation, reliability, resource management, initiative, safety awareness, and empathy. Able to work as part of a team in a rehabilitation program and maintain professional conduct and patient-centered service.
Required Qualifications
- Licensure or certification as Radiology Technician (as applicable)
- Experience in rehabilitation settings preferred
