Job Summary
Radiologic Technologist (X-Ray Tech) at Coastal Orthopedics performs diagnostic X-ray examinations according to physician orders, prepares patients, positions patients for high-quality images, operates imaging equipment, adheres to radiation safety and HIPAA regulations, and documents studies in the EMR. The role collaborates with physicians, medical assistants, and clinical staff, and supports ongoing patient care. Requires graduation from an accredited Radiologic Technology program and current ARRT certification with a Georgia state radiologic license (or eligibility); BLS/CPR certification is preferred, with orthopedic/outpatient imaging experience preferred but not required. Required Qualifications
- Graduate of an accredited Radiologic Technology program
- Current ARRT certification
- Current Georgia state radiologic license (or eligibility)
- Current BLS/CPR certification preferred
- Experience in orthopedic or outpatient imaging preferred but not required
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Attention to detail and ability to work in a fast-paced environment
