Job Summary
Perform various radiographic services by positioning patients prior to exposures and operating and maintaining all radiographic equipment. Maintain current BLS certification from the American Heart Association and hold a Florida State Radiologic Technologist license or provide proof of program completion with temporary licensure at hire. Obtain ARRT certification within 30 days of hire if not yet certified. Requires high school diploma or GED, knowledge of radiographic procedures, and less than one year of radiological experience and formal training.
Required Qualifications
- High School Diploma or GED
- Knowledge of radiographic procedure and practices
- BLS from the American Heart Association
- Florida State License (Radiologic Technologist)
- American Registry of Radiologic Technology (ARRT) certification
- Proof of program completion and temporary Florida State Radiologic Technologist license at time of hire
- Passed the ARRT Certification exam
- Obtain Florida State Radiologic Technologist license within 30 days of the date of hire/transfer
- Less than one year of Radiological experience
- Formal training
