Job Summary
Perform various radiographic services by positioning patients and operating radiographic equipment. Maintain all radiographic equipment and ensure patient safety across all age groups. Requires a high school diploma, BLS certification, and Florida State Radiologic Technologist license with ARRT certification or proof of program completion. Must pass the ARRT exam and obtain state licensure within 30 days of hire. Less than one year of radiological experience and formal training are necessary.
Required Qualifications
- High School Diploma or GED
- Knowledge of radiographic procedure and practices
- BLS from the American Heart Association
- Florida State License (Radiologic Technologist)
- American Registry of Radiologic Technology (ARRT) certification
- Proof of program completion and temporary Florida State Radiologic Technologist license at time of hire
- Passed the ARRT Certification exam
- Obtain Florida State Radiologic Technologist license within 30 days of the date of hire/transfer
- Less than one year of Radiological experience
- Formal training
