Job Summary
Operate and maintain radiographic equipment while positioning patients prior to exposures. Perform various radiographic services across all age groups. Maintain knowledge of radiographic procedures and practices. Hold current BLS certification, Florida State Radiologic Technologist license, and ARRT certification or provide proof of program completion and temporary licensure at hire. Obtain full state license within 30 days of hire. Requires high school diploma or GED and less than one year of radiological experience and formal training.
Required Qualifications
- High School Diploma or GED
- Knowledge of radiographic procedure and practices
- BLS from the American Heart Association
- Florida State License (Radiologic Technologist)
- American Registry of Radiologic Technology (ARRT) certification
- Proof of program completion and temporary Florida State Radiologic Technologist license at time of hire
- Passed the ARRT Certification exam
- Obtain Florida State Radiologic Technologist license within 30 days of the date of hire/transfer
- Less than one year of Radiological experience
- Formal training
