Job Summary
Perform diagnostic examinations, ensure image quality, and maintain patient and radiation safety while collaborating with physicians and the healthcare team. Review exam orders for consistency with clinical diagnoses and verify demographic information including physician signatures. Maintain department policies, confidentiality, and infection control standards while utilizing the VH HIS and PACS systems for quality documentation. Adhere to HIPAA compliance and organizational values. One year of radiology experience preferred; ARRT certification and BLS required. Competitive hourly pay ranges from $33.38 to $47.15.
Required Qualifications
- American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT)
- Basic Life Support (BLS)
- Must possess, or be able to obtain within 90 days, the computers skills necessary to complete online learning requirements for job-specific competencies, access online forms and policies, complete online benefits enrollment, etc.
- Must have working knowledge of the English language, including reading, writing, and speaking English
- Must be HIPAA compliant
Desired Qualifications
- One year of experience in radiology preferred
