Job Summary
Perform radiological procedures under radiologist direction to provide diagnostic images for inpatient, outpatient, surgical, oncology, and emergency teams. Prepare and position patients for imaging, administer contrast media, and monitor protocols while ensuring prompt submission of high-quality images to PACS. Follow radiation safety guidelines, maintain equipment functionality, and keep the department clean and orderly. May perform bone density scans using DEXA equipment. Schedule is PRN with rotating hours; self-scheduling available.
Required Qualifications
- BLS Provider obtained within 1 Month (30 days) of hire date or job transfer date
- American Heart Association or American Red Cross accepted
- Bone Density Certification
- Cardiographic Tech credentialed from the Cardiovascular Credentialing International (CCI)
- Radiologic Technologist specializing in Radiography credentialed from the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT)
- Radiologic Technologist specializing in Sonography credentialed from the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT)
- Medical Sonographer credentialed from the American Registry for Diagnostic Medical Sonography (ARDMS)
- Graduate of an accredited educational program in Radiologic Technology
- Must be able to lift 50 lbs
