Job Summary
Conduct x-ray testing, operate diagnostic equipment, and prepare rooms with necessary supplies while performing Medical Assistant duties. Greet patients, communicate treatment directions, and provide solutions to patient problems or seek help in emergent situations. Document vital signs, history, and medications; assist with patient transfers and procedures supervised by providers. Ensure equipment is in proper working order, maintain radiation protection standards, and complete required documentation. Maintain current licensure and diagnostic imaging knowledge through educational resources. Full-time team members work rotating 36-40 hour/week shifts including every-other weekends.
Required Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent
- BLS Certification
- AR State X-Ray License
Desired Qualifications
- ARRT Certification preferred
- Experience as a Medical Assistant is preferred
