Perform prescribed radiographic imaging procedures with independent judgment, analyzing results to identify and resolve quality issues by repositioning patients or repeating scans. Review patient history and physician orders while educating patients on procedures and equipment to ensure cooperation. When ordered, prepare and administer contrast media or medications, continuously monitoring patient condition and reporting status changes. Prepare equipment, select exposure factors, implement safety standards, and troubleshoot or report malfunctions. Requires an Associate's degree or equivalent experience, ARRT certification within six months, and CPR certification. Part-time night shift with a $7,500 sign-on bonus for a three-year commitment at Allegheny Health Network in Pittsburgh.
