Job Summary
Produce quality diagnostic radiographs for orthopedic cases, including OR, Fluoro, Dexa, and EOS exams, using appropriate exposure techniques and C-arms. Document patient histories, verify physician orders, and perform procedures while adhering to radiation safety and infection control policies. Supervise radiology students during clinical rotations and maintain clean, clutter-free work areas. Enter exam data into the Radiology Information System within 30 minutes of completion to ensure timely reporting. Participate in departmental meetings, quality improvement initiatives, and mandatory safety training.
Required Qualifications
- Completion of Radiology program
- ARRT-R within 6 months of hire date
- Relocation assistance is available for those who qualify
- Graduate of a Radiology Technology program
- Registry eligible
- Two years Radiology Technology experience
- Basic Life Support HealthCare Provider (BLS HCP) - American Heart Association (AHA)
- ARRT-R Radiography - American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT)
- Ability to stand for and walk for long periods of time
- Ability to lift, push, and pull 100 plus pounds
- Ability to move or transfer patients
- Ability to deal with strenuous and physical activity daily in lifting, pulling, pushing, patients, radiographic equipment cassettes and/or supplies
Desired Qualifications
- Two years Radiology Technology experience preferred
