Perform prescribed radiographic imaging procedures with independent judgment, analyzing results to resolve image quality issues by repositioning patients or repeating procedures. Review patient history and physician orders, educating patients on procedures and equipment to ensure cooperation. When ordered, prepare and administer contrast media or medications while monitoring patient status and reporting changes. Prepare equipment, select exposure factors, implement safety standards, and troubleshoot malfunctions. Requires an Associate's degree or equivalent experience, ARRT certification within six months, and valid CPR, criminal, and child abuse clearances. Sign-on bonus of $15,000 available with a three-year commitment.
