Radiology Tech II CT

Job Summary
Perform and monitor CT procedures. Conduct daily calibration checks, administer contrast media, acquire/process images in PACS, work with RIS and Power Chart, ensure safety around hazardous waste, complete annual checks for specific procedures, and maintain a positive department climate while adhering to quality and service standards. Requires completion of a 2-year radiology program, CPR certification, and ARRT registration within one year; night shift in a hospital setting; overtime and call-back potential; emphasis on patient care and compliance with department policies.
Required Qualifications
- 2 year AMA approved Radiology Technology Program (ARRT) and CPR certified
- Current CPR certification
- Registered or registry eligible with the ARRT and must be registered within one year of employment
- Maintain current ARRT certification
- 6 months of job training in CT procedures
