Job Summary
Establish and maintain rapport with patients and families while ensuring radiology equipment operability. Produce and quality-check radiographs by following established standards, adjusting positioning, and manipulating equipment to specified locations. Acquire images by preparing patients, setting exposure factors per ALARA principles, and adhering to radiation safety, infection-control, and HIPAA protocols. Maintain professional and technical knowledge through ARRT continuing education standards.
Required Qualifications
- 1 year as a staff or student technologist
- Successful Completion of JRCERT accredited education program
- Kansas State Board of Healing Arts LRT
- ARRT (R) certification
- BLS
Desired Qualifications
- 3 years as staff technologist
- Associate or Bachelor's in Radiologic Science
