Job Summary
Perform various radiographic services by positioning patients and operating radiographic equipment. Maintain all radiographic equipment and adhere to radiographic procedure and practices. Requires a High School Diploma or GED, BLS certification, and either a Florida State Radiologic Technologist license or proof of program completion with a temporary license. Must pass the ARRT Certification exam and obtain full licensure within 30 days of hire. Less than one year of radiological experience and formal training are necessary.
Required Qualifications
- High School Diploma or GED
- Knowledge of radiographic procedure and practices
- BLS from the American Heart Association
- Florida State License (Radiologic Technologist)
- American Registry of Radiologic Technology (ARRT) certification
- Proof program completion and temporary Florida State Radiologic Technologist license at time of hire
- Must have passed the ARRT Certification exam
- Must obtain Florida State Radiologic Technologist license within 30 days of the date of hire/transfer
- Less than one year - Radiological experience
