Job Summary

Perform high-quality general radiographic and fluoroscopic imaging studies by selecting software parameters that produce diagnostic images for radiologists. Acquire and maintain super user status for fixed and mobile radiographic equipment, including fluoroscopy units, O-Arm, and 3D C-Arm systems. Provide cross-coverage support when staffing needs arise and train peers on nuanced functionalities of advanced perioperative imaging systems. Ensure patient safety and comfort by following care guidelines, transporting patients to prevent flow delays, and maintaining a clean, orderly environment. Use Epic to input patient data and orders, and manage PACS tasks for image archiving and quality assurance.

Required Qualifications

  • Associate's Degree
  • Successfully completed an accredited ARRT program in Radiologic Technologies
  • 1-3 years of professional work experience in performing general radiographic/fluoroscopic procedures
  • BLS-Basic Life Support (BLS/CPR) - AHA - American Heart Association
  • RTR-RT Radiography - ARRT - American Registry of Radiologic Technologists
  • Demonstrated knowledge in how to operate general radiographic equipment and related technology
  • Demonstrated competency in the performance of general radiographic imaging studies
  • Knowledge of how to address age-specific care needs of patients
  • Effective interpersonal skill sets that lead to productive communications and collaborations
  • Competency in interpreting physician order requests for general radiographic imaging studies
  • Ability to exercise prudent judgment in selecting and configuring equipment settings to compensate for patient physiologic variances
  • Ability to consistently produce quality images of various anatomical structures
  • Ability to handle patient specimens and laboratory equipment
  • Ability to maintain the expected level of competency
  • Knowledge of safety and infection control practices to ensure a safe environment of care
  • Microsoft Office Suite experience
  • Must pass a pre-employment drug test

Desired Qualifications

  • Advanced clinical competency
  • Super user status across all radiographic equipment (fixed and mobile), fluoroscopy units, and perioperative imaging systems such as the O-Arm and 3D C-Arm
  • Proficiency in all imaging software platforms
  • Knowledgeable in pediatric subspecialties, including mobile imaging techniques and Non-Accidental Trauma (NAT) studies
  • Electronic Health Management experience
