Radiology Tech (CT/X-ray) | PRN Nights

Job Summary
Operate and maintain X-Ray, CT, CR reader, and PACS equipment while performing imaging exams in accordance with facility policies. Provide technical assistance and supportive patient care to physicians, nurses, and administrative staff throughout the facility. Collect laboratory samples, perform testing under COLA and CLIA regulations, and maintain adequate supplies of reagents and consumables. Conduct routine daily, weekly, monthly, and periodic maintenance and function checks on all imaging equipment. Perform Quality Control, Proficiency Testing, and Split Sample analysis as established by the facility, retaining records for a minimum of two years. Perform duties as an ER Technician as needed and travel to all facility locations. Work nights (7p-7a) on a PRN basis.
Required Qualifications
- High School diploma or GED
- Graduation from an AMA-approved school of Radiology Technology
- Certified as a medical radiologic technologist as required by the state in which practicing
- Registered Technologist with the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT) in radiography
- Current BLS certification through the American Heart Association
- 2+ years radiologic/imaging experience
- 1+ years of CT experience
- 1+ years of emergency room experience
- Proficiency with most X-ray/CT equipment, manufacturer's hardware/software and PACS
- Fluency in English, written and oral communication
- CT certification (Las Vegas Market)
- CT certification within 12 months of hire (Pennsylvania market)
- Travel to all facility locations as required
- Attend staff meetings or other company sponsored or mandated meetings as required
Desired Qualifications
- Associate's degree in Radiology
- Registered Technologist with the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT) in computed tomography
