Job Summary
Operate and maintain CT and X-Ray equipment, perform imaging exams, and provide technical assistance to physicians and nurses. Collect laboratory samples, perform testing under CLIA regulations, and ensure all documentation, logs, and records are maintained in paper and electronic formats. Conduct routine daily, weekly, and periodic maintenance checks, perform quality control and proficiency testing, and retain records for two years. Work night shifts (7pm-7am) as PRN staff at a 16-bed small-format hospital. Travel to facility locations as required and perform ER technician duties when assigned.
Required Qualifications
- High School diploma or GED
- Graduation from an AMA-approved school of Radiology Technology
- Certified as a medical radiologic technologist as required by the state in which practicing
- Registered Technologist with the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT) in radiography
- Registered Technologist with the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT) in computed tomography
- CT certification within 12 months of hire (Pennsylvania market)
- Current BLS certification through the American Heart Association
- 2+ years radiologic/imaging experience
- 1+ years of CT experience
- 1+ years of emergency room experience
- Proficiency with most X-ray/CT equipment, manufacturer's hardware/software and PACS
- Fluency in English; written and oral communication
- Travel to all facility locations as required
Desired Qualifications
- Associate's Degree in Radiology
- ARRT certification in radiography
