Job Summary
Operate CT and X-Ray equipment, perform imaging exams, and maintain all department machinery per established protocols. Provide technical assistance and supportive patient care to physicians, nurses, and staff throughout the facility. Collect laboratory samples, perform testing under CLIA regulations, and manage reagent supplies. Conduct routine maintenance, quality control, proficiency testing, and documentation of all analytic activities. Perform ER Technician duties as needed and travel to facility locations. Requires 2+ years radiologic experience, CT certification within 12 months, and night shift availability (7pm-7am).
Required Qualifications
- High School diploma or GED
- Graduation from an AMA-approved school of Radiology Technology
- Certified as a medical radiologic technologist as required by the state in which practicing
- Registered Technologist with the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT) in radiography
- Registered Technologist with the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT) in computed tomography
- CT certification within 12 months of hire (Pennsylvania market)
- Current BLS certification through the American Heart Association
- 2+ years radiologic/imaging experience
- 1+ years of CT experience
- 1+ years of emergency room experience
- Proficiency with most X-ray/CT equipment, manufacturer's hardware/software and PACS
- Fluency in English; written and oral communication
- Travel to all facility locations as required
- Attend staff meetings or other company sponsored or mandated meetings as required
