Job Summary
Radiology Tech (CT) – PRN. Perform CT and X-ray imaging procedures with a radiology team, operating imaging department equipment (X-Ray, CT, CR reader, PACS) and ensuring results are communicated to the on-duty physician. Maintain documentation and records, collect lab samples, perform routine maintenance and quality control, and participate in proficiency testing. Travel to facility locations as required and support ER technician duties as needed. Requires graduation from an AMA-approved radiology program, state licensure as a radiologic technologist, ARRT radiography (and CT preferred), CT certification within 12 months of hire, and current BLS. 2+ years radiologic/imaging experience and 1+ years CT/ER experience preferred.
Required Qualifications
- High School diploma or GED, required
- Graduation from an AMA-approved school of Radiology Technology, required
- Certified as a medical radiologic technologist as required by the state in which practicing, required
- Registered Technologist with the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT) in radiography required
- CT certification required within 12 months of hire (Pennsylvania market)
- Current BLS certification through the American Heart Association, required
- 2+ years radiologic/imaging experience, preferred
- 1+ years of CT experience, preferred
- 1+ years of emergency room experience, preferred
- Proficiency with most X-ray/CT equipment, manufacturer’s hardware/software and PACS
- English fluency for communication
