Job Summary
Operate specialized cardiovascular imaging equipment and capture real-time images to guide diagnostic and interventional procedures. Monitor patient conditions, ensure equipment readiness, and assist with patient positioning while adhering to safety and sterile protocols. Perform routine maintenance and quality checks on imaging systems, coordinate equipment service needs, and ensure accurate documentation within PACS. This entry-level position supports the cardiovascular specialty team at Mercy Hospital Jefferson in Festus, MO. Graduates of accredited radiologic technologist programs with RCIS training or ARRT certification are required, along with BLS.
Required Qualifications
- Graduate of an accredited Radiologic Technologist Program
- completed required clinical hours
- completion of RCIS training certification
- State licensure
- ARRT (R)
- RCIS
- Basic Life Support (BLS)
- Position requires the ability to push, pull, and/or lift 50 lbs. on a regular basis
- Position requires prolonged standing and walking during each shift
- Position requires the ability to grip, reach, bend, kneel, twist, and squat to perform duties
